In late 2024 we recognized that Levar Stoney had a good chance to become Lt. Governor of Virginia, and that major efforts would be needed to defeat him. We saw Stoney as both an incompetent and dangerous leader, who wrought havoc on our city. We felt we had to get the word out both locally and statewide. Statewide his failures were not known.

Our outreach plan included large display ads in the Richmond Free Press and the Richmond Times Dispatch, as well as three times, personally emailing every elected official in Va, including city council members, town council, county supervisors, and all Va. state senators and delegates. The message was detailed and clear.... We couldn't allow Stoney to rise to Lt. Gov. in view of his extraordinary record of failure in Richmond.

While many worked to defeat Stoney, we were glad to contribute to the effort which resulted in Stoney's defeat by just 4,000 votes.
